Ongoing Skin Trials Register
The aim of the Ongoing Skin Trials Register is to inform everyone of all randomised controlled skin trials and so avoid duplication of effort. This searchable database conforms to the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors guidelines (De Angelis et al. NEJM 2004;351:1250-1)
We ask registrants to lodge the protocol of their planned study with the Cochrane Skin Group and to inform us when their study has been published. We will then flag their trial with the publication details. It will be displayed for 6 months and then removed from the Ongoing Skin Trials Register.
In addition, by registering trials prospectively, trialists will be able to declare their main outcome measures up-front. Registration is Quick, Easy & Free!!
